Coming soon...

I am no professional MUA (Makeup Artist) and I have never had any training in how to apply the stuff. I do however LOVE makeup, I love applying it and wearing it. Many of you ask me on a daily basis for a break down of the products I wear and how I apply them SO in the next few weeks I will be working with a videographer (because I have NO clue at this stage how to film/do all that Youtube stuff) and we will be bringing you my daily makeup tips, what I regularly wear and new products that make their way into my makeup bag.

I hope this is the start of me uploading to Youtube more as I really want to expand my blog horizons this year and what better way than to get myself vlogging? I want to learn how to video myself and edit the footage and create mega slick Youtube vids!

How does that sound?

Spring Clean

I love nothing more than a spring clean of my house and that also applies to my wardrobe. I love when you have a clear out and you can actually see what you own! So many things slip down the back of your shelves or get lost amongst the piles and piles of clothes stacked up. This time of year is perfect for having a clear out and either selling your old garments/accessories or giving them away to charity. I love putting away my bulky coats and thick, winter dresses and making way for lighter summer time pieces.

During a recent clear out, I found this jersey dress (now sold out) that I bought from ASOS Curve. It was one of those items that you buy and end up stashing away and I have to admit, I totally forgot about it. It's a cute dress though so I'm not sure how it got lost. I like the acid wash effect of the fabric, it looks like it's denim but it's a soft jersey and perfect for when you want to look "done" but you actually just want to be mega comfy.

I've seen this wonderful printed jacket from H&M on a number of bloggers and I've spotted it a lot whilst out and about in London as well. It's obviously been a very popular item. Isn't the colour and the print sooo cute?! It's the perfect spring time jacket. I am wearing a size L and if you're quick, you might still spot some in store. I wanted to compliment the colours in the print by wearing a matching shoe and these neon lime, wide fit heels from New Look are not only insanely comfy but also a perfect colour match. I picked up my old Topshop bag and some silver hoops and off I went!

All Star Lanes | Holborn, London.

A few weeks ago, Callie and I headed to All Star Lanes in Holborn for a Barry M beauty event. The event focused on Barry M's Quick Dry Speedy Nails range and the venue was very fitting. The event itself was held in their private bowling room which included a bar and seating area but after the event we treated ourselves to a meal in the main restaurant.

I've been to All Star Lanes a few times and I always have a splendid time there. I've been there to bowl with my pals and to sip cocktails on a date but this was my first time eating there and I wasn't disappointed.

Callie and I both fancied something naughty to eat and drink and All Star Lanes definitely has some very naughty but nice things on the menu! I picked a Lemonade Float and Callie got a Coke Float and there's something really nostalgic about these kind of drinks. I love scooping the frothy ice-cream off the top and I love how the ice cream makes the lemonade all creamy. I didn't fancy a starter as I knew the main would be hearty and thank god I didn't get one because my Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger was huge and insanely nice! The burger has lime and chilli slaw in it and a chipotle mayo which I didn't fancy as there's something about chipotle that I don't like. There are lots of sides to choose from but I went with sweet potato fries which are my fave. Cal and I shared a pudding and although I prefer savoury food, I LOVED the dessert. We got the Blueberry Cheesecake Jar which is topped with crumbled Oreo biscuit. OMG it was so good!

All the mains are well priced, well below £20 (apart from the whole lobster which is £27.50) and even if you don't fancy going for a bowl, if you want some american style munch - I'd highly recommend going there for a meal.

April's Wishlist | Fun Accessories

I like to be quite playful with my style and when I'm looking online the fun, naive accessories always seem to stand out. I love novelty bags and glitzy costume jewellery and I like that as the weather warms up; the shops seem to start stocking lots of fun goodies.

The good thing about accessories are that you can swap and change them and they don't cost the earth so you can switch up your style from day to day and you won't break the bank.

Here are eight different treats I want to own this April. Click on the item you like and it'll take you directly to the correct website. Happy accessorising!
