Be body con.

A word about body con dresses.

If you know me, you know I love a body con dress/skirt. Body cons used to be a no no for fat people and then they got propelled into our wardrobes quicker than you can say 'fat sausage'. I recently read a post slamming them and that just because its now OK to wear them if you're a size 16+, it doesn't mean you should. Wear what the fuck you want, yeah?

My favourite brand for compacting my fat into a tube shape: Asos. Not Asos Curve though, I love the main range ones. I wear a UK18/20 and I've bought Asos Curve body cons but for me, they are too big and the fabric isn't as supportive as their other ones. From their main range, I regularly wear their UK 16s. You can size down 1/2 dress sizes in my opinion. Have a try next time you do a cheeky Asos purchase. Let me know what you think of them.

Here's some pictures of me in my beloved body con dresses and skirts to help give you some inspiration. (Not just from Asos, but from here, there and everywhere)

  1. Oh Danie, you are a beaut. I ordered my very first pencil skirt the other day; I have a feeling I'm going to struggle with the clingyness of it but it's a challenge I'm looking forward to! xxx

    1. You gotta let me see if you feel confident in it!!! .... I don't have any doubts that you won't love it though! Try it with a long line top or a peplum.. I find a peplum looks banging with a pencil skirt and does wonders for keeping that tummy in check xxx

  2. I love it. "Where what the fuck you want yeah?!" I think you look stunning in tout bodycon dresses. I think if I didn't have so much of a tummy then I would but as a figure hugging dress, I'd have everyone asking me when I'm due and not sure I'd take it with a smile lol.

  3. I love your bodycon dresses! They look so perfect on you! I only have one, it's from Asos Curve and it's shown on me here. I like the dress but I must admit that I want to cover the sides up with a cardigan, a jacket or something, because I have a big tummy and lots of fat on the sides. :P

And the tip about going for the main Asos range is interesting. I'm not sure I'd fit into them though. Maybe I should give it a try :)

Actually, I am usually not into florals... like, at all... in any way, shape or form. However, the top photograph is absolutely gorgeous. That is a simply wonderful dress and you look just incredible in it. I -want- that dress... badly. I must say, seeing it on a hanger would have done zero for me but seeing it on you sets it off in it's absolute glorious beauty and visa versa. Stunning!
